I think your type is working better now, but I think the photo with the little boy was maybe better suited for your layout.
I love B. I think this is it!
b
B
A for me - cute design!
B!
I voted A because I like the feel and colors of that photo - but maybe pick a similar one with more room on top, so your "Merry & Bright" can be bigger. I also like the font you used for the name in A best, but, maybe a little smaller. This design has come a long way - good job!
You could also mirror the photo in A, then her head wouldn't conflict with the "y" and you could make "Merry & Bright" larger.
Very cute, but the family name is very hard to read on top of the rain boots.
I voted B. I'd center the name/year at the bottom, though. Love the size of the "Merry & Bright" in this one.
I like your changes!
Nice work on the refinements! :D
I voted C - I think it's the most "holiday"
I like red best :)
C - pretty hand lettering!
A for me! Looks great!
C!
both the red and the green work. i picked c.
C. This photo works well with the family's name and it is bright and cherry for voting.
I like c
Thanks Minties all of you, sure do not want to forget any one who has helped during this process really appreciated
C - love the photo and that you can read all the text easily!
I pick C. Way to keep at it, Neeta ;)
Hello mintines from high and low from India from Africa and united states you see come out come out there is another this time it is the color you see. Let the snow glisten so tenderly thanks alot
I still like the scallops and the photo in C, but I would revisit the small type at the bottom. Maybe a different color or try and integrate it with the copy at the top. Right now the red blends in with the photo and it's hard to see.
I like the photo of C - try pulling the Merry & Bright down a little so that it's not so close to the edge.
I voted C, but agree with Ann to bring the "Merry & Bright" down from the edge more and maybe use white for the family name/year, since the red is hard to read. The size of all the type/lettering is looking better, though! Good luck!
C for me!
I pick C
I chose C. The bottom copy gets lost, though. Perhaps experimenting with the color and/or font? Also, I'd move "Merry & Bright down a bit, so it doesn't get cut off at the top. :) Nice job!
here is the close up of the image
here is a thumbnail of the photo with the photo all die cuts and font and color are all customizable
Hi Neeta! I like what you did with the type - it feels much more balanced now, but I think the design was stronger with a full bleed photo.
Oooh I like the red! Feels a little more cheery to me. I think the only other nitpicky thing I see is the kerning on the bottom line seems really wide. I might try tightening it up just a bit.
The red is more festive. I would still scale up the Merry and Bright some more and keep the spacing between the letters/number consistent on the bottom line. This photo feels a little sparse I might try with other photo options.
I like the red on A - but the design feels a bit off balance to me. Perhaps making the "Merry & Bright" a bit bigger and centering it would help.
A for me - really like the font combination!
The scallops match the playful feel of the photo.
I like the scallops - B!
I like the scallops too,but I'd move up the text at the bottom a little. It feels a bit tight at the bottom.
B for sure. I might scale that M&B up a tad.
A for me - prefer the cleaner look!
Love the playfulness of the scallops. I would definitely move the bottom line up though, it feels like it's getting a little lost down there. Have you tried playing with color at all?
here is a close up of the card
I voted A. I agree with increasing the size of "merry & bright" a little, and decreasing the size of the name/year. Great changes so far, though!
I like the scallops, B. Your lettering is so pretty, I'd increase the size a bit.
I vote C but agree that you could increase the size of your hand lettering.
i would bump up the type of the family name
B. Great type, the bigger the better!
thanks a lot every one it helps to know
Neeta - I love your lettering straight like this! I would scale up the letter a little - maybe so that it is about 4 or 4 1/2 inches across? and shrink the name/year a little - maybe use 10 or 11 pt and see how that looks?
I voted B
I prefer B.
Hi Neeta, I think the type overpowers the photo. How about decreasing the size a bit and making it straight? Just a suggestion.
I prefer A. I agree with the past comments that straightening out the letters would look nice, too. Much improved!
Hi! Option A is my favorite. The hand lettering might be a little too close to the child's head in the sample photo, so you could try moving the photo down a little bit. Another idea would be to straighten out the lettering to be in a straight line. :)
I didn't realize the type was on a white background. I agree with sharon and think straightening the type might look nice. Not sure how you created the type but if it is possible I think it would look nice without a white background so you could try moving it all around the picture. Overall I really like the improvements and simplicity of the design and the color of the type with that picture!
thanks Sharon Christina and who ever has done the polling thanks a lot.
The name and date look great! Maybe you could put a little more space between the andersons and 2014. I think you could move the photo up and place the merry and bright down above the name and date. It could run over the dads shirt. That way the photo could be the highlight at at the top and the type could be the focus of the bottom.
I would make the name and the date bigger so that it is easy to see. And I am not totally sure but the picture looks distorted. did it upload correctly?
Your lettering is nice! I agree with Christina's comments on the photograph distortion and making the name/date larger. Also, it looks like the text is outside of the allowable text margins - it needs to be 1/4 inch from from the edge to ensure that it's not cut off when the cards are trimmed. I would recommend centering your "merry and bright" lettering and making it a little larger, and, maybe, bringing the date to the bottom with the name. Best of luck!
