Are the colors a good choice even though they aren't Christmas colors? I was trying to match the colors in the family photo.

I think the yellow stands out a little too much - maybe choose a different color for those :)

More traditional Christmas colors may be could always find another photo to use with it that way purple doesn't limit a consumer who may not have purple/pink in their family pic.

Hi! The black text on dark purple is a little hard to read and the white photo border disappears a little on the white part of the gradient blend. One suggestion would be to have the darkest part of your blend on the left behind the stars and white text and the lighter part on the right. The colors do go well with the photo that you selected, but might not be as harmonious with a wide variety of consumer photos, so you may want to experiment with a few more color palettes that would work with a larger variety of photos. :)

Try not to base your design around the colours in a single photo - remember that customers will be wanting to use your design with an infinite variety of photos!

I would make joyful bigger and have it relate more to noel, possibly taking out the stars and changing the background to a solid color instead of a gradient.
