Thanks everyone for all the feedback!! Does this work better? I toned down the colors and reduced the number of fonts so that the illustration could take center stage.

Love the illustration, Diana! I think right now the text on top and the illustration are fighting for attention. I'd make the illustration the focal point with name and age to follow. Could you try having the banner with "hello dino-buddy" on top and then keep the rest of the text simpler at the bottom?

I agree with Smeeta. Your text at the top is competing for attention. Simplify the text. The illustration should be the focus. So cute!

One of the absolute cutest illustration styles I've seen on Minted – best of luck, looking forward to seeing more of your work :)

Cute! I would agree with the others about the text on top competing with your cute illustration. Try simplifying the "arthur" and "three" fonts and I think it would be a better balance. Really cute!

what an adorable illustration! I def think I would let it take the center stage, and simplify the fonts a little. I would just pick two fonts throughout and simplify the top like the other said :)

The green banner on the slate-blue background could benefit from more contrast. They're pretty close in saturation, which makes my eye vibrate where the two colors meet. I agree with Smeeta – the illustration is so unique compared to what other Minted designers are offering. That will make you stand-out even more! Well done and welcome :) I entered my first Minted Challenge today, too. I'm also nervous!

I agree with all the other comments. Your illustration is adorable! I would definitely suggest simplifying the the text and let your illustration take center stage. I don't think you need the slate blue background on the bottom. Hope that helps!
