I'm going for a rustic, comfortable feeling here. Does it seem too preppy or too busy?

i think you're definitely achieving the rustic, comfy aesthetic here - another option would be to have the border surrounding the text to be an oval instead of a rectangle? just and idea but it may contribute to more of a country feel!

Hi Hannah, I like the plaid concept but the color needs refinement, it seems just a little too country and not enough rustic. Try looking at either more muted colors like a brown or more light colors like a yellow/orange each with a touch of green.

They are all cute, but I like this blue one the best. They are feeling a little more preppy than country rustic, maybe reduce the scale of the print?

Option C says rustic the most to me! I think because it most closely resembles buffalo check. It's hard to really tell in the small thumbnails but the white elements seem kind of hard to read on the tan background. Might want to take another look at that!

I think having the plaid on the outside edges keeps it clean and classic! This is a beautiful , soft take on a pattern that can otherwise be too formal and stodgy.

I really like the plaid on this invite. It breaks up the simple interior of the invitation with a fun border. It really makes everything pop!
