Nice work Alex! I love the cross hatch with the Argyle. It's perfect for more traditional families. I think to add a subtle design element to the bottom portion, you might want to add a white cross hatched line about .15 inches from the very bottom (below the text). Then make the text a very saturated chocolate color, along with what is now black. Lastly, I would explore enlarging the "W" from Warmest. This is going to be gorgeous!

And so it begins... How about rotating everything but the image CW 90 degrees- making it landscape.

I actually started with it landscape, and I ended up rotating in 90 degrees to make it portrait.

I guess the palm tree thing should be up to me since I live in Florida, but I won't go there :)

I updated it, replacing the black with a chocolate, which I think softens it a bit.

The chocolate definitely helped.

For this challenge, we’re asking designers to create a modern, sophisticated holiday card inspired by a specific geographic location of their choice.

nice card, I like the brown better as well.

Looks like a sock. Is the geographic location of inspiration a foot?
