About the Design

comments from Brooke:

I incorporated Yvonne and Rene’s theme of lovebirds in my design, and I was also inspired by Rene’s story of how they met (at a party). I wanted to include an energetic, celebratory feel by incorporating organic, hand done elements while still creating a design that was classy.

The type couldn't be more simple, but I really like it.

Really love this one - it reminds me of a cool Indian print. I want this now!

This is modern and fresh, and is perfect as-is. I think it has a lot of personality while remaining very sophisticated.

this is a perfect invitation considering the type of wedding it is supposed to be. i think the designer did a great job of listening to her clients while also showcasing her own personal style into the piece. can she do my wedding?

I love the colors used and the imperfections in the swirls, so cute!

What a beautiful, simple, fresh design. I realize that the lovebirds are specific to this couple's wedding theme, but I could easily picture this being used without the birds as an invitation for just about anything

I love everything about this~the design is intricate but not too fussy. I like how the designer shows a "peek" of each design-this makes you anticipate the actual invitation as well as the event itself. I also like the way the names are bold while the rest of the type is faded. I hope this design wins...I would love to see the formal invites!

I really like this one. I especially love the colors and the detail in the designs.

This is nice...not too girly. I like the hearts floating up from the birds. Cool colors too.

I love the lovebirds & hearts. This design is sweet and seems to fit the couple. The colors are great and the design is fun & festive, which makes you excited to attend the wedding-wish I could go!

I like this one - a very custom look - colors represent the red in beads and the aqua blue of his shirt and tie. Sandy

This designer has been very successful in employing a very appropriate artistic technique, in keeping with the theme requested by the couple. The naturalness of this design not only conveys warmth (not common in wedding invites, but welcoming), it is very smart and contemporary; the colors although unexpected, provide a brillant twist to the design. The text font and color wonderfully balance the intrictate, henna-like patterns. I have a question: Can I hire this person for my artistic production company, Stardesigns?

Miss Brisbois is indeed an outstanding artist. The timely designs created reflect the eternal circle, so representative of marriage. It is also light, lacy, and nicely balanced. This artist is worth commissioning. Congratulations!
