Ok, it's pretty split. Comparing voting to comments I'm torn on what is a better fit for the Minted brand. However, I am going to go with my gut and choose "A", at least for the time being. I'm headed out of town and don't want to forget to change it when I get back the day before submissions close. If I get a chance to try some other fonts, I will. I just don't think the way I handled switching it to Melany Lane is working the way I hoped it would.

I'm always a sucker for when script swashes bleed off the edges like that. Simple and cute :)

I tried a few fonts including Wendy, Monsieur La Douliase and Wisdom script. Alt B uses Melany Lane...none of the other fonts worked very well. I find that the design becomes reminiscent of the Coke logo with the Melany lane font. Do you agree, and, if you do, is that a feature to exploit or avoid? For example, I could add texture, make it look worn and pick a different photo that's more summery.

I also agree with Olivia I think that there is beauty in simplicity.

I like the font in A, the font in B looks a lil generic

Love this concept! Have you tried another typeface, maybe Business Pen or Melany Lane? I'm thinking that something that isn't so upright might work better with the flowing touches on either end of the type.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will play around with the type and see if I can come up with an alternative.
