comments from Zhi Ling:

This is a modern take on the traditional paper cut animals that feature in vintage Lunar New Year cards. 2019 is the Year of the Pig.

Poll - do you think the details outside / around the pig is necessary (A) or do you prefer the cleaner look of B?

Both look good but I like A better, it feels more balanced.

I pick A since you're able to show all the lovely details of the pig!

I like A for layout + photo option :) Though I feel like it could use a little extra something to fill in some of that white space around the pig: I'm imagining some sort of border or corner details to echo the pattern in the pig and/or something resembling Chinese paper cuts.

I chose A because the design elements pop and I like the the cute pig is larger. I feel like it could use some air? Maybe space the elements out a bit more vertically or add a bit of space between the Happy Lunar New Year text and the pig.
