So cute! Love the tail and the colors. I might suggest replacing the thin horizontal lines with a solid turq. bg for 2 reasons - it distracts from the awesome tail details and second, part of the seahorses head is getting lost in it. Maybe soft rolling waves to mimic the swooping text.

Thanks for the feedback! I think these "waves" are better with the seahorse, but now I'm not so sure about whether or not they distract from the mermaid tail. . .

good changes... I love the tail so much - I would say nix the seahorse and play with the type in that corner.

I agree with Amy...nix the seahorse. As cute as it is, it does distracts from the tail.

okay, thanks! I'll get rid of the seahorse and play around with the type. . .

waah, but the seahorse is so cute, still I have to agree, the tail should take center stage. The type in the corner is now really hard to read. . . Hey, how about an adorable sea horse invite for a baby boy!?!

awe...love this! And I love the details like the sea-horse. I get what everyone is saying but I think it's only distracting right now because the type in the corner is getting lost. I personally feel if you fix that, then the sea-horse will be welcome.

i really really loved it the way you had it originally. i liked the lines. i thought they nicely related back to the lines on the tail. and i liked that the water was straight to relate to the photo and let the mermaid stand out because she was curvy. design is so dang subjective :).

I love the details on the mermaid - the dots on the fins has an almost shimmering effect. Lovely work!
