I really like your colors & curls but the type is blending into the background too much. It might also look nice to create some groupings with your party information. I like where you're going :) Hope this is helpful.

You know it is very inspiring to look at winners of past competitions & study their typography styles. Some of the greats are Annie Clark & Kelli Hall (that makes them sound ancient, doesnt it?) If you go under "Design Challenge" & choose "winners" it will take you to all the past competitions. I bet you will find some great ideas for a font that would work well on this layout. I wish I was to the point where I could tell you the exact font like I would if I knew fine wine (oh, you should choose 1787 Chateau Lafite) but I'm not. I find that I have to play with my typography a lot to get it right where I want it & then sometimes it still doesnt feel quite right.

Oh sweetie that La Tea Da font comes out much better then the other one did and what a cute play on words. Now these are just my thoughts but see what it looks like if you justified the tea party sentence with la tea da. Where they are flush left & right. What does it look like if you use the La Tea Da font for Evie's name? I think one less font might be good. Hey, there is a forum you can join & find out even more helpful information about these challenges. There is also a "Designer Directory" in the forum that you can add your information to and/or if you would like to get to know everyone better. Good Luck!

very cute! i love the colors. the two fonts used for "la tea da" and for the name throw me off a bit because one is slanted and the other is not. maybe try using the same font? also, i think some of your words may need to be positioned a little further from the edge of the page so they don't get cut off. i would also add a little bit more space between "Evie Monroe" and "on her eighth birthday." hope that helps! great work! :)

Well, that font is not working for the name. Too much of it is disappearing. Check out the forum because there are some typography resources there that are very helpful. Im getting ready to post a few as well. :)
