I like the way "cheers" stands out from the photo here. Traditionally, yes, you would have the name on the card. In our last challenge there was an option for no words, so you could leave it off (but for voting purposes I would include it). :-) The 2014 feels a bit out of place... a little *too* contrasting of style - perhaps a classic serif? Good luck!

I agree with Wendy. I'd probably put the 'to 2014' on the top of that curve, then add the family's name where 'to 2014' currently is. I'd also play around with the color of the drop shadow you used. Hope that helps!
