thanks for the heads up for the stationery for the San Fran challenge . . I wasn't sure they used the word personal in the submission guidelines and the example link was to personalized stationery. Hi Sarah, thank you for taking the time to make constructive comments on my Brilliant Calligraphy save the date design. I was trying to use rounded corners as the trim but the template was not looking correct so I went to straight edges and I changed the typography.

Sara, thanks for your comment but I have not shown different colorways. I have shown 2 different designs; this one a female bicycle and the other designed for a male. I am sure that if I do the wrong thing the site administrators will let me know.

Hi Sara, I thanks so much for the feedback on my design! I kind of felt the same way, but was having a hard time picking something out. Because the pattern isn't a true paisley (like on bandanas) I wanted to convey that western feel. Any other thoughts on how to convey this or a different font to use? Thanks again!

I am happy to hear that you like the floral pattern. My illustrations are usually created in Illustrator. The floral pattern was an inspiration from an ornate mirror frame in my mother's home. I took a picture of it and traced it in Photoshop. I do try my best to create and use original elements and encourage you to keep doing same. I must say that it's sometimes a lot of work (I often run into creative blocks) but it's very rewarding! P.S. If I was in Grade 2 I'd get my parents to buy me the "choo choo choose me" valentine to hand out to my classmates! :)
