About Lea Velasquez

My love for designing started at a very young age. I like to incorporate modern twist with bright colors in my designs. I am passionate with different mediums such as watercolor and gouache paint. When I'm not designing, I'm with my lovely family, strolling around small shops in downtown Honolulu or enjoying the beautiful parks and beaches here in Hawaii.

Lea, Congrats on your 4th place win!! That's sooo awesome!! Sorry, I totally spaced in getting back to you about meeting up. I've just been crazy busy and it completely slipped my mind! Hi Lea, I was looking at the entries and noticed your subtle blooms entry. I am sure it was not intentional but it is so similar to Lori Wemple's Midnight Garden already for sale. You might want to consider taking it down or changing the colors. Just a thought.

Hi Lea! I was admiring your beautiful entries in the Moments that Matter challenge, and I just realized you're in Honolulu, too! How did I miss that all these years?! We should totally meet up, one day! I'm not sure how many Honolulu artists there are, but maybe we can have a Honolulu Mintie meet up. Do you know of anyone else? I haven't been as active in the community the past few years, other than entering challenges, so I don't really know of any other Hawaii designers. Anyway, if you'd like to grab coffee or lunch, one day, just let me know. Keep up the beautiful work!! :)
