Whether it’s with brushes, on the computer, or just by hand, I am always designing. I tend to lean towards a modern and bold style, but I like to add a little bit of fun and whimsy. My designs often end up with a bohemian vibe without me even trying! I get inspired by unique shapes and the colors of nature.

Hi Elizabeth - I say keep going as long as you enjoy a challenge! I find it interesting and useful to look through the ‘winners’ of previous years’ contests especially with stationery and I learn a lot about using type - I’m still trying to break into the mainstream stationery after 4 years but the skill level and number of entries keeps going up, so I’m still running for the bus haha! I think it’s worth designing for the more obscure occasions sometimes listed In the contest guidelines - less competition and gets you out there! Good luck with your initials design.
