Hi Jeje, I hope you're well, having a nice weekend. Yeah, I guess Minted has made improvements in direct communication via Slack, I stand corrected. I totally forgot they switched to that platform until Minted brought it up in their Palette email newsletter this week and then you mentioned it so I launched Slack to take a look. I'm so out of the loop on these things. So if you want to jump over there, that would probably be best. Do we just use our standard personal email addresses? Looks like it. I'm getting familiar with the layout and going through the announcements page, trying to catch up. Let me know...my email is aeransom@mac.com

Hey there, Jeje, hope you've had a great week after that crazy monday and all. Lots going on. I didn't realize the the "cut off" aspects of these comment boxes. It's not my favorite mode on talking with others on Minted (I've put down several suggestions on improving better communication tools but so far no progress). So to answer your question about Jakarta...no, I've never been. My international travel has been quite limited. Maybe one of these days I can get over seas more. I do love Sumatra coffee though which is probably quite a regular thing there. It's probably my absolute favorite. I've lived in two big city downtowns through the years and really enjoyed it. Most times I do miss it, how close everything is and walking around. My town is not big or small and that seems to work but it lacks many interests, you have to really appreciate the small things. That's how much dog has helped me...we have a big woodsy park near the house and a creek runs through, a big hill, other trails in the area. She loves daily walks but she's up there in age now and her play has come down quite a bit - she doesn't like to fetch with flimsy frisbee anymore but does play with her tennis ball and play chase with the cats. Her hearing has gone down too which can be a big bummer. She's very sweet and smart, and her energy is still up there but not like it used to be. It's just been the last couple of years where she's changed and has had to cope with her age. She used to run circles around the other dogs. Well, enjoy your weekend. See you up on the challenges :)

Hello again, Jeje. Hope you’re having a good day (nighttime is probably more accurate). Are you in the city area of Jakarta or out a ways? Seems like such an enchanting place. Late morning here, dragging my feet but casting votes on Minted. So many great entries. Likewise, enjoyed getting your note. You mentioned your dog series inspiration from your friend, nice! I keep trying out pets…cats or dogs…but never can get them to something that works. Every now and then I try sketching my them for fun and I love doing that. Maybe I should keep exploring options. Enjoy the rest of your week - chime in whenever you have a moment :) Best Eric

Hi Jeje, thanks so much for your kind note and support. So glad you reached out to let me know…Minted has so many fun and different Challenges, it’s hard to keep up but it’s inspiring and really motivates me, I guess. Loving your entries as well, your dog series “live in the moment” is so cute and the beige background one has the very same expression my dog has. She’s a beagle/jack russell terrier with nice floppy ears and wide, happy eyes. She keeps me busy. Best of luck to you :)
