Placing Orders is Easy

Below is an outline of the several ways you or your client can order through your storefront. Either way, you get 13% commission.


Important Note: Whether it is you or your client that is placing the order, it is important that you both make a visit to your storefront using the custom URL you created during sign-up (YourName.minted.com). This helps ensure that the tracking link is embedded into the browser in order to credit you for the sale.

    Option 1. Place an order on your client's behalf, from start to finish.

    Option 2. Upload a photo for a client who wants to order for themself.

    Option 3. Upload a photo for a client who has already placed her order.

    Option 4. Show your client how to place an order for a photocard by herself.


1. If you want to place an order on your client's behalf, from start to finish, follow these easy steps:

  • Ask your client to find the design(s) they wish to purchase either from your storefront or by browsing through our collection.
  • Select the design and begin customizing through your own photographer account.
  • Complete check out and receive confirmation that the order is complete.
  • You will receive digital proofs with your customizations implemented which you can share with your clients before approving for print or sending back for revisions.

2. Uploading photos for your client using Minted's Photo Bank Service, follow these easy steps:

  • Go to the My Clients section of your photographer account.
  • Create a new client by using the '+ new client' button.
  • Once the client has been created click on the your client's name to begin adding photos.
  • Upload photo(s) and save.
  • Select 'send client email' and an email will be sent to your client with a link to your storefront. Your client will only be able to use the image(s) on Minted.com and will NOT be able to download directly from our site.
  • Photos are automatically added to your client's minted.com account photo tray by clicking on the email link to your storefront. Once they've activated the link they can begin browsing and shopping cards and have access to the images you've shared with them.
  • If you need to add more photos for your client go ahead and add more and 'send client email' once more. Only the new photos will be added to their photo tray.
  • After your client places their order they will receive proofs to review.

3. If you want to upload a photo for a client who has already placed her order, follow these easy steps:

  • Go to our photo upload page here. This page is also always available through your photographer storefront.
  • Enter in your client's order number and email address and click "Find Order."
  • Upload photo.
  • Click submit to complete check out and receive confirmation that your order is complete.
  • Your client will receive proofs for review.
  • You or your client can reach out to a design associate for further assistance, if needed. Email us at service[at]minted.com or call us at 1-888-828-MINT. Please have your order number handy.

4. If your client wants to place an order for a photocard by herself, she should follow these steps:

  • She types your personalized Minted storefront (example: YourName.Minted.com) into the browser.

    It's important that she starts here because that is how we know to share revenue with you from this sale.

  • She selects the product she wants to purchase from your photographer storefront. Or, she can browse through Minted's collection and pick her favorite.
  • She customizes it and uploads the photograph.
  • She completes check out and receives confirmation that her order is complete.
  • She reviews her proofs and can share them with you.
  • She reaches out to a design associate for further assistance, if needed. She can email us at service[at]minted.com or call us at 1-888-828-MINT. She should have her order number handy.
