What file types do you accept?
You can currently upload photos in the following formats: jpeg and tiffs. We recommend that photos be high resolution for best print quality. This means 300 dpi, printed up to a 5x7 card (for our full bleed cards).
Is there a size limit for photo uploads?
Yes, photos must be 10 MB or less.

I am a photographer. How can I place an order for my client?
To place an order for your client and earn 13% profit on your sale and back of card name printing, you need to log in to your Minted account, type in the URL of your personalized storefront, and then follow the normal check-out procedure. Please go here for more information on how to place orders.
Can I still complete my order if I do not have my photo?
No problem! Just note in the “Special Instructions” box in the check out process that the photo will be coming soon. If your photographer has the image, you should get more detailed information here on what to do next.
How long is your turnaround time?
Proofs will be emailed back to the individual who places the order within 2 business days after the order is placed. Re-proofs, if necessary, will be emailed within 24 hours. Product order delivery times vary widely by product and vendor. Each product has an estimated delivery time frame stated on the product page.
What if I’m in a rush?
We want to help and will do our best to accommodate. Our rush processing guarantees your proof by midnight (12 a.m. PST) the next business day. To further expedite the shipping process, we offer FedEx 2Day and FedEx Overnight shipping. The rush service costs $25.
Are my photographs protected?
Absolutely. Minted prioritizes the security of its designers and photographer’s work. Photographs that you upload will not be shared with anyone else.
Will Minted help me edit my photograph?
Delivering the highest quality products to our clients is our obsession. Our design associates will happily adjust your photograph by cropping, rotating, or resizing almost any image. Color photos can be converted to black and white or sepia at no charge. Please include your request in the special instructions box when you check out.
Can I submit my photos to be included in the designs shown on Minted?
We encourage our community of designers and photographers to show off their work. Submit your photos for consideration in our designs by emailing designers[at ]minted.com. We will get in touch with you about possibly including your photographs in our design competitions or card samples in exchange for publicity.
Can I send you the photos that I want to use with my card via mail?
Sorry, we cannot accept physical photos. Please upload a photo here. If you encounter trouble getting a digital version, get in touch with our design associates, and we will help you think of a solution.
Will I see a proof of my order before printing?
Yes, every order includes two complimentary proofs. After you have placed your order, we will notify you via email when the digital proof is ready for review. Or, if your clients placed the order, we will notify them via email when the digital proof is ready for review.

How do I join the Photography Program?

How I do add designs to my storefront?
To add designs to your storefront, log in to your account and then browse through Minted’s design collection. Add any design by clicking on ‘add to storefront’ through the quick look, slideshow, or product detail page.
How many designs can I select to include in my storefront?
You can select as many designs as you want to include in your storefront.
How do I receive samples of the products that I have selected for my storefront?
When you sign up to become a partner, you can opt in to receive a complimentary sample kit. Additionally, samples of any other products, including those that you select for your storefront, are available for purchase. Simply browse to the product detail page, and click "order a sample" to add it to your cart. The first sample costs $9, while additional samples within a given order cost $1 each. Sample orders will ship within 24 hours from the Minted facility. All sample orders are shipped by USPS, which has a continental US delivery lead time of 1-3 days.
How long can I store the photos in my account?
Minted will keep your photos for up to 6 months since your most recent visit. If you don't come back in 6 months, we will automatically delete your photos.
Revenue Sharing Questionsback to top
How will I receive payment for the profit I make as a Minted Photographer partner?
The profit you earn will be sent to you, by your payment method of choice, by ShareASale, a company we work with to administer our revenue sharing program and help track your sales. You will receive payment after you earn $50. For more information, contact Danny at customerservice[at]minted.com.
Is there a limit to how much profit I earn?
No, earn away! Minted offers a 13% profit on all sales with no additional work for you.
