Forest Green and Pink Wedding Inspiration

By Lauren Saylor of A Fabulous Fete

green and pink weeding

Is it really already September? And you know what that means, we are moving away from the super bright palettes to more saturated and fall inspired tones. Now, i’m not a huge fan of the brown and gold that comes to mind when we think fall. Not all color should be thrown in the trash once we get to the cooler months. I think we can still play with color, but use more saturated tones, and definitely skip the neon. With that said, here is one of my favorite color palettes for fall, forest green and pink. I love that the green is very mellow and grounding, but you can still have fun with the pops of pink.

Wedding Trends: Grace, Audrey and Bianca

By Celisse, Perfection Team at Minted

What do Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Bianca Jagger have in common?

Their striking individuality.

When I think about weddings, or my dream wedding, I get a bit nervous. Weddings, I think to myself, are supposed to be a certain way: traditional & formal. Right? Well, they certainly can be, but do they HAVE to be? Not at all. Just like Grace, Audrey and Bianca we are all uniquely our own. We too have our own tastes, styles, likes and dislikes. Our own favorite songs, flavors and flower and what I am learning is that you your wedding day doesn’t have to be anything but exactly what you hope it to be.

beach wedding

Meeting each other in Italy, Sean and Kellin debated on taking family and friends back to the place where it all began, or celebrating on a tropical island where the groom spent his teen years. After much thought on two beautiful places, the pair decided to wed in Kailua, Hawaii as it was where many family members already lived and it felt like home to them. Plus getting guests to take a little vacation before the big day would not be a hard task.

With nearly impeccable collections that focus on dreamy and romantic extravagance and always strikes a classic cord, I thought it might be fun to gather some wedding invitation inspiration from Russian couture shopper turned couture fashion designer, Ulyana Sergeenko.

The essence of Sergeenko’s collections are woven into every detail of the Winter Flourish wedding invitation design. With it’s lovely script font and fanciful flourishes it  perfectly embodies Sergeenko’s textile elegance.

It’s almost as if Ulyana designed and typeset the invitation herself!
