“Wherever you go” by Griffinbell Paper Co.
What a joyful design! Lynn didn’t hold anything back in her bold use of color. The playful palette and whimsical hand-lettering do a beautiful job of highlighting a Bible passage that’s perfect for a baptism.
Best Baptism & Christening Invitation
“watercolor stripes” by Four Wet Feet Design
Shannon’s gorgeous watercolor recalls stained glass while staying abstract and modern. The tonal shades of blue are just gorgeous, and form the perfect background for the understated clean, white cross.
Best First Communion Invitation
“Sweet Tradition” by Dulce Dahlia
We love the sweet femininity of Sarah’s “Sweet Tradition.” From the subtly textured background to the dots around the oval frame to the vintage-style flourishes, there’s so much about this invitation that many girls will love.
Best Bar/Bat Mitzvah Invitation
“Bar Mitzvah Stack” by Laura Bolter Design
We love Laura’s spirited “Bar Mitzvah Stack”! Laura expertly combines typefaces and a unique color palette to create an invitation that’s both playful and elegant. The illustrated Torah is such a sweet touch.
Best Sweet Sixteen Invitation
“That’s the ticket” by Pretty in Paper
An “all access pass” is such a fun spin on an invitation! Anne makes great use of the tag shape to create a ticket everyone will want to get their hands on. The sweetness of the pink and the glitter texture is wonderfully offset by the distressed black text.
Best Confirmation Invitation
“Veracious” by Sarah Brown
This is such an elegant, timeless design. The deep navy background and the name in a classic serif font keeps “Veracious” from feeling overly feminine, while the ornaments on either side of the date add just the right amount of pomp and circumstance to signal the importance of the event.
Best Quinceañera Invitation
“Delicate Quince” by Ana Sharpe
“Delicate Quince” is beautifully feminine without feeling young. Ana’s dainty wreath highlights the honoree’s age, and the top line of text follows the shape of the wreath so seamlessly. We love the subtle banner around “reception to follow at”; the curvilinear text adds a playful twist.
Text with a Twist Award for the best design that puts the name or customizable text on a curvilinear path
“Quincé” by Lori Wemple
We’re swooning over Lori’s color palette in “Quincé”! The dark background sets off the lovely tonal shades of pink, purple, and aqua. The hand-drawn “Q” makes for a perfectly whimsical focal point, and the dancing banners and sweet florals are sure to appeal to any young lady.
Newbie Award for the best design from a first-time entrant
“Pretty Window” by Lady Noble
Lady Noble’s very first Minted submission is absolutely stunning! The pastel color palette, reminiscent of Easter, is perfect for the marble-like stained glass texture. The varied texture and clever use of negative space make the design so dynamic.
Top Customer Pick
“Birthday Bash Cake” by Karidy Walker
Yum! Karidy’s bright, playful cake sets the mood for a fun, lighthearted party. The askew candles and cake layers feel so youthful, while the bold, textured shades of pink are girly without feeling overly sweet. The expertly combined type faces are just the icing on top!
