pickle & ice cream baby shower favors

baby shower favor idea

Although pregnancy cravings of pickles and ice cream maybe only a thing from movies, I think the pair could make a fun baby shower theme. And this favor that fits couldn’t be simpler to put together.

Supplies:

Step one: Cut a box shape from your paper or cardboard. First start with a 10 1/2″ x 6″ rectangle, than create sides by trimming 1 1/4″ squares from each corner. Score the sides at 1 1/4″ in from the side for an easier fold.

Step two: Fold the sides up and secure with decorative tape in the inside corners.

Step three: Fill the box with paper crinkle.

Step four: Create pickle and ice cream labels with maker and adhere to containers of each.

Step five: Pack pint container with ice cream, attach spoon to the side with tape, and store in freezer until time to serve.

Step six: Place pickles and ice cream into box and set out for the taking.

  2. Cute idea – I actually craved both with my daughter…..never eaten together. My first four months….everything I ate tasted sour….so….pickles or anything that was vinegarey worked for me…salad with looots of Italian dressing, salt & vinegar chips, lemon chicken…..Ice cream seemed to neutralized the horrible taste i had in my mouth…..after she was born and when I finally had enough energy to clean out my fridge we had 8 jars of pickles in there.
