Conversation Napkins DIY

If you’re having a pastel themed wedding this season, these adorable napkins would look very sweet at each guest’s place setting.

Just like the conversation lollies you buy at Valentine’s Day, these conversation napkins give you the chance to give each guest their own special message from you both.

Step by Step Convseration Napkins

Step 1: If you are using fabric instead of ready-made napkins, cut your fabric to the size napkin you want and trim with your pinking shears. This is a quick cheat instead of sewing the edges.

Step 2: Print your conversation hearts on t-shirt transfer paper and cut each heart to size. Most t-shirt transfer paper requires you to print your images in reverse. Check the instructions on your paper before printing.

Step 3: Follow the directions of the t-shirt transfer paper to set your images. The usual method is to place your image face down on your fabric and iron your image for 30-60 seconds. Your paper will have its own instructions so make sure your check yours before you start.

Step 4: Peel away your paper to reveal your cute conversation heart. If your paper requires you to set the image further by ironing over with grease-proof paper, do this as well.

Step 5: Repeat all the steps using as many hearts as you want, making one napkin for each guest.
