Sparkly New Year’s Eve Garland

By Melanie Blodgett, You Are My Fave

I love how New Year’s Eve is an excuse to put sequins on everything. Here’s an easy way to add some sparkle to your wall, just what the new year asked for. Let’s get started … Supplies • card stock cut into 4×4 squares • razor blade • hot glue gun • sequins • hole punch • twine Step 1: Cut the letters out from the card stock squares using the razor blade. You can free hand it or trace the letters beforehand.Step 2: Cover the paper with hot glue and pour the sequins on. Step 3: Pick up paper square and shake off extra sequins. Fill in empty spots as necessary. Step 4: Make holes on each side of the paper and string to create a garland. 3, 2, 1 …. Happy New Year!
