New Years Decorating

By Victoria Smith of SF Girl by Bay
‘Tis the season for holiday parties, and just when you thought the festivities might be over, New Year’s Eve rolls up right around the corner. I’m one for staying in for the evening and celebrating with close friends and family.

It’s easy to decorate with lots of white candles flickering and I quite like this idea of blowing up a few balloons in assorted sizes and taping them to the wall. Pretty!
Here’s what I did last year…

Last year I threw together an instant photo booth background using gold foil door streamers I found at the party store and it was the hit of the party. Hang them in a cozy corner and guests will be instagramming group photos like mad. Or create pretty garlands with ribbon, paper and mylar streamers. Add a few festive cocktail buddies and pretty straws just to make your drink recipes a little more memorable. Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone!

  3. This is just darling. So simple but such a great impact. And no helium necessary which is what I love!
