Make Minted Wedding Invitations Look DIY Fabulous

We were so thrilled that one of our own design associates, Janet Paik, helped to make one of our Minted customers’ wedding invitation look fabulous! Janet was close friends with this bride and consulted her friend about her wedding invitations from a graphic designer’s perspective.  The bride ordered the Happy Couple Wedding Invitation in Spring Leaf designed by r. studio.  She wanted to add a special touch to her invitations but wasn’t sure exactly how to go about doing  it.

Janet suggested a different envelope liner that included a pattern as well as calligraphy.  (Psst…we also offer envelope liners that go with your whole wedding suite!) The colors that were used were blush pink and spring leaf, so Janet headed over to Paper Source to find some beautiful pattern paper that matched the bride’s color theme.  Janet and the bride had a wonderful invitation assembly party where everyone helped to cut liners and get involved in the invitation process! Not only was it a fun bonding experience for the bride and her friends, the invitation assembly party added a level of DIY to the invitations that was creative and unique to her own aesthetic. The exquisite calligraphy on each envelope really stood out and added a great personal touch. In addition, Janet helped to create a custom label for the recipe card that was included in the envelope as the bride wanted to provide some great recipes from her friends and family along with her wedding invites.  We can’t help but feel that this simply was one of the cutest ways to dress up an invitation by adding personal touches and some DIY elements.
