I'm a designer, illustrator, and lifelong doodler. My designs always begin (and sometimes end) with a hand-drawn sketch. I'm inspired by pattern, vintage type, teeny-tiny details, and perfect color palettes. Hi, Olivia! Thanks for your shadow suggestion. I had thought of that in the beginning, but was not confident in my ability to make it look good, so I was avoidig it! :) I've added a shadow - any feedback you have on it's shape or darkness is certainly appreciated!!! :)

I certainly don't want to take your design, my goal was to feature a puzzle and interlocking pieces representing the couples... but I can rework it too! Olivia, I do have a Wacom, but never use it. I haven't got the hang of it yet. Hope to master it in the future as I think it will be more efficient than drawing with the mouse.
