With a background in both fine arts and graphic design, I have been working as a graphic designer for the past 12 years. Minted introduced me to the world of stationery and I've been hooked ever since. My passion lies in marrying old with new—creating something with both a vintage flair and a modern twist.

Sample: Annie Clark approaches her art with a graphic designer's eye. A long-time resident of the Mission in San Francisco, she is constantly inspired by the diverse color and texture of her neighborhood.
Katie Wahn loves including a sense of whimsy in her art. She is inspired by children’s book illustrations and anything vintage. Her passion lies in marrying old with new–creating something with both a vintage flair and a modern twist.
Please write a short note to customers who purchase your art prints. Every Minted Art Print will come with a special folded card that includes your picture and a thank you from the artist, adding a special personal touch that helps customers remember you and your artwork. This is separate from the Thank You Note above and is important to position the art piece as a high-end piece with credibility.
To help us prepare your special card, please make sure that the image of you on the site is a photograph, not a logo, and please draft a thank you note to customers, limiting yourself to 150 characters. No words will be added to your statement, so your statement should be written in its entirety, including your name. Please do not include your contact info or a URL. This information could create confusion for follow-up customer service.

Hi Katie! Thanks so much for your kind comment on my "forevergreen" design for the Head Over Heels challenge. It means a lot to hear from someone who's got some awards under her belt! Congratulations Katie! Cupid's Arrow was one of my favorite designs in the minibook challenge.
Congrats Katie, WOO HOO two designs in the top ten... way to go :D
Katie, thank you for your comment (re: simple waves)! So sweet of you. Last night when I uploaded the last version I was wondering if I should even bother...hahaha
Sorry to make you worry! ;) I've just always been told that a design should be well within the .25" safety zone. When a design is trimmed the cutter margin is usually .125" so if your border is only .125" then it could be a problem. I've also had borders in the safety zone that were trimmed slightly off and made the piece unusable, so that's why I try not to use them.
Hi Katie! No problem... .25" or larger is best and it should be well within the .25" safety zone. Personally I try to stay away from borders because there is too much room for error when it's trimmed. Really like your designs, btw. :)
Thanks Katie for your sweet comments.. I can't wait to see your designs :)
Hi Katie... yeah I guess it would be a far trip to NYC. Hopefully you can make it... I love to meet you.
Hi Katie... are you going to the NYC meet up? BTW... your minibook submissions were awesome :)
Thanks for your comments on Carnival. I created a new version of it, Marquee, and am now torn between the two. I've come to realize that stationery design is a lot more challenging than it looks!
Hi Katie! Thanks for leaving the comment on my site - always excited to get positive feedback as well :) You have such a great style, I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
