Sheila, the designer behind TGS has a love affair for modern sensibilities, smart typography, brown paper packages tied up with string — these are just a few of her favorite things. She is tickled pink to be part of the Minted design community.

Dear Customer,
From,
Please write a short statement about where you call home and what inspires you as an artist. (Limited to 275 characters or less). This note will be displayed to customers on the product details page of your art prints on the Minted website.
Sample: Annie Clark approaches her art with a graphic designer's eye. A long-time resident of the Mission in San Francisco, she is constantly inspired by the diverse color and texture of her neighborhood.
Sheila, the designer behind That Girl Studio is inspired by modern sensibilities, as well as salvaged materials that have a story to tell. She is a chronic East Coast city dweller, now living in a rural Chicago-land where she’d love to have a pet rooster.
Please write a short note to customers who purchase your art prints. Every Minted Art Print will come with a special folded card that includes your picture and a thank you from the artist, adding a special personal touch that helps customers remember you and your artwork. This is separate from the Thank You Note above and is important to position the art piece as a high-end piece with credibility.
To help us prepare your special card, please make sure that the image of you on the site is a photograph, not a logo, and please draft a thank you note to customers, limiting yourself to 150 characters. No words will be added to your statement, so your statement should be written in its entirety, including your name. Please do not include your contact info or a URL. This information could create confusion for follow-up customer service.
Sample: Hello! I am so honored you chose my artwork to hang in your home. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have in making it. Best to you, Annie
I am as pleased as punch you've chosen my artwork to be part of your décor. Your walls will thank you for it - Sheila | That Girl Studio
Thanks for your comment about my Map of New England design - no, it didn't win. But I think I am going to open an Etsy shop and sell some of my losing designs. It's nice to know that some people might want them!
hey sheila, nice to hear from you! you always manage to swoop in, do something great, scoop up a few awards and then hibernate for awhile! I am glad to hear you are doing well and are busy. Yes, life is full and I am happy about that! Trying to succeed in business takes a lot of work! Take care, Carol
Thank you Sheila for your sweet comment. Your Something Borrowed is one of my all time favorites! I think I need it for my apartment :)
Thank you for your comment about Edessa. You inspire me with your design!
funny, about the barber show. Where did you take it? was it in boston?
Thanks for your sweet comments! How funny that it didn't log you out all the way. I usually solve that by using two separate programs instead of windows. So I'll be logged in as myself on Chrome and then as my sister in firefox (sometimes she begs me to post for her lol). That way you also don't have to worry about remembering to log out :) That's also a pretty sweet deal getting to use your hubby's photo equipment. I'd so love to have a new camera right about now :)
Thank you for leaving such a nice comment on my design! You have such a creative approach to design, I'm very flattered by your sweet words : )
2more wins! Nice work, congrats!
Thanks!!!!
ha, ha, thanks lady!
Thank you, Shelia! Christmas is my favorite holiday!! White Christmas is my go to movie when I'm feeling upset and I always feel better by the end number!!
Thanks for the kudos, Sheila!
Congrats on your first win!!!
LOL - Thanks Emma - Just reading this now. Still getting the hang of how this works. You crack me up.
Hi TGS, your copywriting is great! You sound like you're giving up before you're even getting started. You can push and edit your designs as many times as you like in this phase. And from what I've seen of your work so far you have the chops to be a winner!
Love, love, love. These pieces are amazing and really combines a chic style with a sense of humor and flare. The personality and talent of this designer shines through in her work. It's really good stuff.
