Hey Stacey! It was great seeing you yesterday and thanks for the feedback on my designs. I'm on the same page as you with the "geometric fir" design. I'm going to continue to play with it and see what else I can do with it. And for the other one, thanks for pointing out the photo size. Not sure what I'll do, but your suggestions were helpful I'll keep on working with it. Also, your glasses are really cute. I forgot to tell you yesterday :)

Stacey, on the new font list (online only - available under "resources" on the secondary menu bar under design) they have the minimum font sizes and strokes for each typeface. actually quite helpful.

you are too sweet, Stacey!!! Thank you so much! is 5x7 too large to ask for? I live in the middle of nowhere with no water around but my love for the beach and ocean doesn't waiver. My neighbors and I call my home the non beach, beach house b/c it's decorated in beachy colors with tall grasses and seahorses and whales and fish. :o)

Hi Stacey! I while back, I sent you a message about textures that let the background show through, but since then, a much easier way has occurred to me... so I thought I'd share it with you! If you have a texture as an overlay, make it white and set the transparency mode to overlay (or any combo of color and mode that will make it invisible). Then group it with the object you're trying to add texture to and make the group a knockout group. Let me know if that works for you! All best, Madeline

hi stacey, thanks for your feedback on my amelia florals design and no worries at all - it's good to at least try the different options. maybe I will try a more subdued color in place of the hot pinkish. :)
