Hey Shira, I read your note. I'm fairly new also but I've been in the design industry a long time. When I started submitted to challenges I was disappointed that I didn't get comments. I wanted to participate so desperately and of course be accepted into the fold. From what I understand, the Minted collective has grown, and continues to do so each day. Amy, from Design Lotus, sent me a note. Please read it. It was valuable info to me. Basically, we need to enjoy the process, aspire for our own version of excellence and let it go. I have fun, that's what counts. Don't let this, "kick your butt" as you wrote. It's an opportunity to express yourself. Choose one or two designs you can put your heart into and give them all you have got. If you have time, keep submitting. More than anything, enjoy the process.

Hi Shira, you are most welcome! I've been getting addicted to critiquing (not that I'm an expert)! But I do for designs that I see have a lot of potential . At the same time I think "why didn't I think of that"! :) Keep pushing it.. but if you are going around in circles then step back for a while and come back to it later. I am having a designers block right now because I keep seeing such amazing work and have lost my focus. Good luck with the challenge.
