About Smudge Design

Established in 2003, I started Smudge Design as a freelance graphic design business. It has since grown into a full time career that allows me to fulfill the need to create and inspire. Being a huge pet lover, I decided to name the business after my beloved pug "Smudge" (8/1996-6/2011). Hey Renee, thanks for your feedback on Vintage mill. I took your advice and nudged the copy up a bit. If you have time would you mind taking a second look and let me know what you think, if it's enough or needs more. It's a very subtle change but I didn't want to center the entire thing, I was going for more of a rustic, hand stamped feel so perfectly centered would deter from that I think. Thanks again :)

hi renee, thanks for your comments on both my holiday designs so far. i just uploaded a new version of the "baby it's cold" design, darkening up the colors a bit. they seemed more washed out than i intended once i submitted it. do you think it helps? or should i revisit the colors altogether? congrats on your recent wins, by the way:)

Hi Renee, I like your suite of cards for the +3 holiday challenge. I especially like your type treatment and icons at the bottom! I wouldn't mind seeing the photos a bit larger though. I personally like clean designs so overall I think you did a great job.
