Moglea (pronounced MOH-GLEE) is the studio of designer, illustrator, and farm wife, Meg Gleason. Meg loves to take a hands-on approach to each of her designs, usually starting with a pencil, a paintbrush, or an exacto knife. She loves all things paper and is lucky to be the owner of a print shop, where she prints her own work for her letterpress stationery line.

Hello! I’m so thrilled that you’ve personally chosen my artwork. I hope it brings lots of color and joy to your space.
Meg, Thanks so much for your comment on my "Noble" Wedding Design. It really means the world! I don't care if it gets picked or EVER sells...knowing that YOU think it's cool is the best prize ever! Seriously!!
Thanks for your comment on Winter Berry! You are too sweet. Loving your entries!
Thank you Meg for your comment! Your opinion means so much to me, you are awesome!!
Meg- Thanks so much for your comment on "Verve"! I very much admire your lettering and work, so it really made my day :)
You totally made my day -- thank you!
Hi, Meg! Thanks so much for the feedback on "Botanical Blooms." I changed the font to a lighter weight Cyclone -- I'm trying to keep the design from tipping too far to the "delicate" side. Let me know what you think if you have a chance!
Thanks so much for your wonderful comment Meg! It really means a lot coming from someone as talented as yourself! And congrats on all your recent success getting into all the stores! That's so awesome! :)
Thanks for the reply, Meg! What a year for you! I think that's so awesome that your designs were so well received at the stationery show. I've seen some of your non-Minted designs recently (i.e. your collage cards) and they really are beautiful... can't wait to see them in the stores! And those Anthro cards are to die for... so love that edge painting & your letterpress is lovely! Thanks for the info and I appreciate you offering to answer any questions I may have. I will keep it in mind as my business grows... thank you!! :)
Correction: I meant dining room, not kitchen :)
Hi Meg! I just started a thread on the forum about getting your products into stores then I saw on your blog you are selling cards at Anthropologie. Congrats! They are beautiful... so fun! I feel pretty stupid asking this, but how do you do it? I know you have a ton of stuff in all kinds of cool stores across the country and your work is amazing (I'm not there yet!) but I feel like there's some little secret that I can't find the answer to :). Do you mind telling me how you got your product in actual stores? Did they come to you or did you go to them? Thanks Meg. By the way, that kitchen of yours looks so pretty.
hi meg, thanks for your sweet comment. so much of your work reminds me of my work in college. how did I get so far away from that exuberant, playful feeling I don't know, blaming the corporate world, but you always inspire me to not take myself so seriously. love your work! sorry I wasn't able to say hi in person at the NSS. you were surrounded by admirers with checkbooks! I will try harder next year!
Thanks for your comment Meg! if I don't win, I'll just send you the files - ;)
Likewise, Meg - I am always amazed by the work you do (both Minted and non)! You really rocked it this challenge - they are all just killer. :)
was so great to meet you too! i cannot wait to see more of your beautiful work and launch of your shop - pretty please say you'll ship to new zealand?! hehe definitely keep in touch :)
Oops, typo, meant to write "Ha" not "Hs"!
Hs, thanks Meg :) I value your opinion and love your entries - your designs always make me happy. I know you will do awesome, cheers!
Hi Meg, I just wanted to say that I saw your new letterpress line on your blog (- I have Amy's ingenious Minties RSS Blog feed) and it is so beautiful and delightful :) I can imagine it must have taken a lot to prepare for the NSS and to produce your new line. Congrats. on your well deserved success! Love your work!!
Thank you Meg. I was really surprised they picked two additional designs. Congratulations to you on your 1st place win. It's a beautiful design for a t-shirt and I would love to have one to wear. :)
congratulations Meg! can't wait to pick up your winning t-shirt design in NY! x
Hey Meg, I just saw your baby shower invites on ohsobeautifulpaper.com for probably the 3rd time and just wanted to say they look really beautiful. I love letterpress so much and hope to learn more about it some day! Love your work!
Hey Meg! I just came across your new wedding invitations on Minted and was blown away - your style is so fresh, unique and absolutely beautiful - seriously inspiring!! Big congrats!!
Hi there, Meg! I just read your helpful comment on the forum and clicked over to see your work (I'm new around here). I love it! I enjoyed what I saw so much that I ventured to your website to admire some more and finally ended up following all your pinterest boards! I promise I'm not stalking you :)
It's great to see the thoughtfulness both of your design work and to read your wisdom relating to the process of continually grappling with expressing your unique voice and communicating well.
Hi Meg! I just was reading your exciting news on your website. I'm so happy to hear your expecting!!! I have some close friends, Amy & Ben Savage, who adopted the cutest little boy from Africa about 2 years ago. If you ever need advice or someone to chat about the experience...I KNOW they'd LOVE to talk. My friend has a site where you can read more: http://lovingtheleast.blogspot.com/
Good luck! I'm excited for you!
Just map quested it...about 3 1/2 hours to Kansas City- very doable! I've been wanting to check it out too- I've only heard good things! We will definitely have to meet up :)
Congrats on *your* wins, Meg! You had such gorgeous designs in this challenge- I'd buy a mixed set of your notecards any day :) We are indeed moving back to the midwest...central Missouri to be exact! We're pretty excited to be back and close to family :)
Congrats on your wins -- beautiful work!
Awh, thanks Meg! Keep your fingers safe from that new press of yours! ; )
Hey there Meg! Thanks for the great comment on my super hero design. I value your opinion big time, so that just made my Friday! Take care : )
Hi Meg, I just pinned your al paca print. I had too, hope you don't mind. It's awesome. - S
Hi Meg, thank you SO much for your helpful feedback with my "four scoops please" entry yesterday. I took your advice and mixed up the fonts a bit. I still think it needs some tweaking and will continue to re-work it, but I appreciate you inspiring the change it needed!
I really, really want to go to NSS this year, but it's all pending a possible business trip for my husband. If he has to attend, then I won't be able to go because I'll be at home with our little girl. If he doesn't, then I should be able to. It would be so great to finally meet everyone in person!! :o)
Hey Meg! This is completely unrelated to Minted design stuff, but I just wanted to say I really like your new profile pic. Love your hair! :o)
LOVE your new photo. You look beautiful!
meg! haven't congrats on ur many wins on the art challenge.. love to see your artworks! they are always fun and unique.. adore it!!
PS love your entries as usual, but Miss Mary and Audrey are just ridiculously beautiful!
I didn't catch it until editing had closed, but thanks so much for the feedback on my monogram design, Meg! Hopefully it attracts some short-winded writers ;)
"beautiful" - I need spellcheck...
Awww - thanks for making my day with your comment on Sunny Side Up! Your work is so awesome. I really love Miss Mary - such a beutiful design! (and, while I'm here - Simply Stork and Prairie Tale are two of my favorite designs on Minted!) :)
Meg, your work inspires me and you instantly get awesomeness points for being a letterpress printer. :) Thank you for the suggestion on Kite Trio, I made the kites different shapes and I think they're better! I appreciate the feedback.
Thank you for your comment, oh I'm such a newbie haha! Looks much better now with the shadow :)
Thanks so much for your feedback on my "Don't Pop The Balloons" invite. The balloons took me forever to draw...not my strong suit...so I was THRILLED that you thought deserved a non-photo entry as well. Just posted it. let me know if you have any other advice. Thanks again!
Thanks so much for the feedback i changed it and i do like it better with a script font.. Thanks
Thank you so, so, so, so much. It means a lot coming from such a talented designer!
Thank you Meg! You know I adore your work! Good luck with the new letterpress printer. I know fabulous designs will print out of it.
Thank you so much Meg! Happy new year + hope to see you at NSS.
Meg, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! It means so much to me! This is my first challenge and not only did I love the challenge, I am loving this kind and supportive community! You have absolutely beautiful work!
Hi Meg, the first 8 years of my life were spent in Souix City, Iowa...but then again maybe I shouldn’t admit that to anyone. :) Thank you for the compliment on my designs.
Meg!!!! I so appreciate your time and very thankful for your comments on my save the date submissions. I agree with so much of what you shared and going back to the drawing board to work out your suggestions. Thanks a million... you are the best!!!
Hi Meg. Thank you for your considerate critique of Bumble Bee. I’m going to take a look at the sizes of the different shapes.
your designs are so precious. love them all!
Meg! Thanks so much for the feedback! Unfortunately, I don't have enough time before submission closes. Hope minted will spare one day to fix it.. :D And surely, I will change the 'oh boy' to 'oh joy' LOL.. Can't wait for yours!!! It's been a while...
Would love to make it to NSS this year! Keeping my fingers crossed that I can make it happen. It's always great to meet Minties in person!
Meg, you just made my day! I've had a design crush on your work since I joined Minted, so that's a huge compliment coming from you! I know you're a letterpress maven–do you ever collaborate with other designers? I've always wanted to get a letterpress myself, or at least take a class, but it hasn't happened yet.
Hi again, I played around with the type some more, and I changed the names to Learning Curve. (Unfortunately, my font selection is rather limited, so Learning Curve is one of the better script fonts that I have.) Thanks again for all of your wonderful feedback. It really means a lot! :)
Hey Meg, thanks for all of the amazing feedback. I really appreciate it! For my Cross Stitch Rose design, I tried the vertical layout like you suggested, and I was wondering if you could take a look at the revision. I would love to hear your thoughts on which version is better. Thanks again! :)
Hi Meg! I need to talk with you about a letterpress job...what's the best way to reach you - thats of course if you are remotely interested :)
Aw thanks Meg :) But seriously, it's just not the same w/o you!! (Love the work you've been sharing on your blog though!)
Hey Meg! Just wanted to say hello! Miss seeing your beautiful work in the challenges :)
Thanks Meg for your kind comments on my Little Isetta journal cover. I also find your sense of color and illustration to be super sweet - you've got a big fan here in Berlin!
Thank you so much, Megan - I'm a little bit in shock right now but very happy :) Hey I tried to comment on your blog today but must have been doing something wrong (couldn't get it to work - still learning this blogging thing haha) - anyway I was just going to say how beautiful your church canvas turned out - just wow, so gorgeous!
Thanks Meg :D

Eventually we would also like a C&P or a Golding Jobber (Drool)... maybe one day when we have settled back in the Midwest. PS. I love your style, you are so talented.
I was so looking forward to meeting you in person. You are even more lovely than I imagined! Please let me know if you are ever in the Denver area! Or now you have an excuse to come out this way!!! =D
