Hi! I'm Laura, a designer/illustrator currently based in Missouri. Fittingly enough I fell in love with stationery design while creating my own wedding invitations. After a few years in the Minted school of design, I am now working on my own line of lovely paper pieces. Simply put I like all things pretty - flowers, fashion and textiles bring me endless inspiration.

Hey Laura! Thanks so much for the feedback on my "whimsical bliss" design. I tried to change up the size of the flowers a bit but not sure it's enough. Also tried to add some spart to my design... would you mind taking a look to see if I'm headed in the right direction? Whenever you have time... :)

Aww, thanks Laura! It was so nice meeting you too! Yeah, I'm bummed you're leaving! It would be fun to do our own little unofficial Oahu Mintie meet ups from time to time. Maybe we'll have to do one again right before you leave! Haha, yes paints n brushes and the beautiful (sometimes) mess they make... I can't live without em! You have some gorgeous designs up here on Minted by the way! And I love the "painterly" touch you've brought to some of yours yourself, like Bougainvillea and Mixed Floral--I think that's quite an accomplishment in good graphic design, great job. And I LOVE your pop paisley design! And how funny you say that about screen printing at Linekona, because that class was literally the first artsy thing I signed up for last year when I got to the island!! Yeah it was great. I wouldn't mind taking it again sometime actually. I've been going to the Friday figure drawing group at Windward CC lately, enjoying it and enjoying meeting all the great artists there... Hi Laura. I just saw your beautiful entry "Cheerful Love and Joy" and wanted to mention that if you're intending to quote "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", the phrase should read "love and joy COME to you. Just mentioning it because your design is so lovely, but the phrase just felt a little off.
