About Laura Bolter

I’m a designer turned illustrator and artist with a BFA in graphic design from the University of Kansas. I started my career at a greeting card company, but decided to freelance when my daughters were born. Many years later, with an empty nest, I now try my hand at many creative projects, including painting and jewelry. I'm hoping Minted will be another successful endeavor and look forward to meeting other Minties and creating designs that Minted customers will find meaningful for their needs.

I really appreciate that, Laura. :) If my design had been a little more different than yours, I'd probably have kept it up. There are a bunch of similar designs in each challenge so I think it's always a gray area. PS: I really like all of the pieces you've entered lately!

Hi Laura, thanks for the note. I'm pretty sure mine was the 3rd one up, so I think the protocol is to ask each of you if you'd like me to take mine down. Carol said she's ok with me leaving mine up (and I think yours too), but I'll defer to you about mine since mine came after yours (and since ours look similar). Hi Laura, thanks for your nice note. My design was up on March 4 but it is different from yours and Sarah's. I don't think you need to take it down.

Hi Laura – no need to thank me! I saw that you were a little frustrated iawhile back (in the forum) & I'm hoping that you're having a better experience. Glad to see you're still around. I know you have a win coming soon! My husband and I are both originally from Kansas. He grew up in Lenexa. We still have lots of family in K.C.
