About Kristie Kern

I'm a freelance designer with a background in agency and corporate design, but discovered a real passion for creating gorgeous stationery on Minted. My work space is the renovated third floor of the 1919 Craftsman cottage I share with my husband and six-year-old son in Akron, Ohio. I find creative inspiration everywhere, but some of the best inspiration is the design community of Minted. I'm thrilled to be a part of it.

oh yeay!! We will definitely have to hang out next time! I know - that party went by so fast, there were so many people I wanted to meet but not enough time! Hopefully next time there are chairs too - my feet were killing me :P

My parents are originally from Ohio, but I grew up all over. My dad works for goodyear and has his entire career, and we moved a lot. I was in TX for high school so went to a TX college and have never left - but they moved back to that area about 10 yrs ago and will be there till he retires. I am probably there once a year. I love spending time there in the summers - it's a great break from the Tx heat!
