About Frooted Design

frooted: adj. playfully derived from “fruitfully rooted,” referring to one who is firmly grounded in a belief, so as to bear many fruits or good results. As a designer, I believe in telling an interesting visual story with a clever twist. I particularly love when typography is clever. My design hero is God, the ultimate storyteller. What can compare with the creative intricacies and scope of His creation? Whether it's a person, a sunset or a generous action, I'm always inspired by it!

hey Tanya, thanks for you sweet note on my creature comfort design! I wish you had time to bang out your design! Mine was actually a concept I designed for my own holiday card a few years back - retooled for this challenge. Check out the old one in my Diecut, Score, and Fold section of my site. It's pretty different!

Hi Tanya :) thanks for your suggestion on my "enjoy" design. I have tweaked the spacing a bit and hope that the hole is closed up a bit more. I think it does look better. take a peek and let me know what you think or if it needs more attention. many thanks again. your help is very appreciated ^_^

hola tanya... roberta here :P it is true that minted's community is largely women and having a profile picture of my son can make my persona a bit ambiguous as well. so no worries at all on the unintentionally implied gender hiccup :) take care and love your work!

Yeah I used the templates but only once they were all finished. I forgot to switch the images out though.

Thanks you so much for your comment on my profile. I actually forgot the drop shadows and was going to edit my designs and fix that but I couldn't find the time before the challenge ended.
