Hey, Dawn - I just added something to my two recent comments on your Rudolph design...but, then thought you may have already read it...so...I was just thinking the reason I'm not fond of a dark photo pverlay on that design is b/c Rudolph is making spirits "bright." It seems contrary to darken the photo. Anyway, just wanted to explain my comment further. Love that Rudolph! Good luck!

I think it's awesome!!! The digital type and his "good" meter speak for themselves...although, I was thinking that kid looked like he might be closer to the coal side. :) I don't know what you would say...maybe "better be good" in the digital type and the "merry Christmas" with the names? But that might be making him less friendly? I like it as is, too. I wish I had such a great gimmick to repurpose as your robots - they are so great!!!! Hope he wins!

Thanks, Dawn! I was thinking plum/gold and navy/gold for the other colors. When you are untrained, you HAVE to simplify to be able to do something good! So, I guess I have an advantage there... :) I'm still thinking about that font - I don't have Learning Curve, but I'll try some others...Thanks!!

Thanks for the feedback, Dawn! This is the one that inspired my daughter's purple and red card - she hates the green! I used her purple and red combo in my other entry - Joy Underlined (she made a face at that one b/c it didn't look like hers1)

And, I have a theory about the fewer Editor's Picks here lately...I think they want us to have something good to sell on our Minted storefronts when they launch sometime this year...if they select ALL the good stuff it costs more money up front and makes the storefronts less viable...is this a Forum question?

Bummer that I won't be there...sounds like a great time! So, I decided to add "knotes" to my Etch-A-Sketch (in my photo)- would that look cool? Except I cannot replicate Etch-A-Sketch writing (I tried), so I think I will dig out my daughter's mini one tomorrow, so I can write it, photograph it and trace it...it seemed like a such quick and easy project when I thought of it...

Had no idea, and was happy to see that although the title of the Wedinator section was about destroying the day of your dreams, that You In or What managed to come out with only a few thumbs down and assorted critique on how crazy the couple is to have their wedding in 2014 (little do they know it's b/c if minted chooses it, it'll not be live till 2012 :) oh and "Isaac" is the proper spelling. OOPS ;) Thanks AGAIN for being so sweet to forward this, brightened my day!!

thank you Dawn for your helpful feedback! You affirmed what I thought about that one tangerine and the "reception" font. For some reason when I exported it seemed HUGE. Anyway, thank you again...and lovely work!
