Besides my hubby, my kids and coffee...there are few things I love more than pretty paper. I am inspired by all things beautiful but have a real soft spot for the retro and the decidedly offbeat. Kerri, I love my canon and it does do solid color printing but it uses ALOT of ink to do so. For me it depends on he design but some of them I do print with the canon and for some of the others I digitally print. I dont love my digital printer - its VERY cranky) and I am in the market for another solid ink printer so I will share with you what I find! I have not looked into a CIS system for my printer as I am super super picky about ink colors but I am going to check the link you sent. Follow up with me at anita_brown2@gmail.com. :)

Hello, I was just reading through the forum about printers and noticed your post about loving your Canon pro 9000. I followed your blog to discover your etsy shop (which is gorgeous by the way). I too have an etsy shop and like to be able to print in house. The quality of my prints have been fine for the most part, but not for solid color printing. I am looking for something that I can print the background in a solid color and the text be the paper color. Would you recommend the canon 9000 for this type of printing? Also, have you looked into the CISS for your printer? http://www.inksystem.com/ciss/canon/CISS-9000.html Any advice you could give me would be fantastic! thanks so much, kerri my email is kerrispath@gmail.com
