Your design is suffering from too many good ideas. I would simplify by nixing the jars and the barn board bg. My favorite elements are of the fireflies. The jars, although super cute- They are conflicting with the formal style of the fonts and swashes.

I know, I know...too many things. But I heart Mason Jars. :) What if I lost the barn board and fine-tuned the jars? (they're FPO sketches right now) Worth a shot or move on? Thanks!

I like the barn theme, perhaps if you lightened the color of the mason jars they wouldn't compete with the text as much

I love your designs. The pink lemonade is super cute. I think if you lightened the board so that it is not such a strong element, and then made the jars the same color as the text. There are too many beautiful elements competing with each other. I think also maybe the swashes do not go with the barn theme- although you can find something that will to bring it all together and still be formal enough for a wedding invite. Something that looks similar to a barn wedding type of look. Maybe draw it- since you drew the others and they will all go together. Just my thoughts :). Good job, though- the colors are lovely and I love your ideas!!

I LOVE the jar and the fireflies- very cute. I'd be curious to see how this looked if the colors used were a bit more natural/outdoorsy- that might match the theme and informal quality of the jar.

Great rework! I adore the jar and the fireflies. I think the gray kinda throws me off a little. I might try a dark bark (dark choc + gray) color.

YES! much better. Love the single jar and the formatting of the type. Didn't mind the swirls at first, but this is cleaner. I love the idea of brown and blue too.

great improvement ... one jar was the way to go! i would simplify the design even more by removing the borders, it would be as if the lightning bugs could fly off the page.

This is a really great concept! I had an evening outdoor wedding last June and these would have been my pick. I was worried all of the little kids would get bored, but the caught fireflies during the entire reception. :)

I love the progression of this design from start to finish. One more little suggestion - I photoshoped out the 'We' at the top - I don't think you need it. =)

Thanks Amy! I get what you're saying and I agree with either way. But I actually prefer the "We" at the top for now so I can play off the two fireflies. My personal preference but the suggestion is much appreciated!
