As a big cook myself I love this! What a fun way to share recipes or thank someone for a hostess gift. And very timely with all the movies starring Meryl Streep as a chef extraordinaire out right now.

This is very cute and I can see people buying it as a gift for "chef-y" friends. moms, whatever. The measuring spoons are great on the label. I'm not sure if I love the swoosh under the name on the card, but I can see how it would look too floaty without it. nice one.

Awesome concept! I am sure many people who love to cook would love this especially when they are being personalized as "Chef" =) Nice layout and color choice. I am so glad you didn't add any hint of yellow because that would remind me of mickey d's.

Dude - What's wrong with mickey d's? If this design were just half as popular as McDonalds that would make me a very happy woman. =) Hmmm. Where cam I add a hint of golden arches...

You could do a version with a Chef's knife and a basting fork, for those wanting some, um, less feminine utensils. Not that there is anything wrong with whisks. Or the people who use them. It's just that knifes are pointy and dangerous, and I know more than a few cooks that like that kinda stuff.

I suppose you could also do a Spork version for those whose only experiences with knives are of the plastic sort.

Alex - I can do one with all knives and a meat hook. I'll call it "the butcher". Manly enough for ya? =)
