Thank you for the useful feedback. The composition feels more unified now. Feel free to give more feedback :) I'm adding a detail shot of the new wings and whales.

I've updated the composition and colors a little to make it less busy - because I still think that the bee-whales and the hive-iceberg work nicely together. thoughts? I've added a detail shot showing the textures.

This stands out so much - it's such a clever idea and I love the colors and texture. I see what Heather's saying about simplification... and I agree with you that the three parts do work together. I think maybe if you approached the outlined sections a little differently... I think that's what is distracting me/ could benefit from simplification? Maybe break up those shapes in the wings and at the water line with color and texture color, instead of having an outline - basically like you did with the iceburg... that is perfection :) Just an idea!

Hey everyone - this is one of my first entries to Minted and I was wondering what your thoughts are on the contrast - I'm concerned that I might need to lighten or darken either the iceberg or the whales. Would love some feedback. thanks :)

I love the iceberg sooo much. I think you could almost break this out into to pieces to keep it simple and really let you illustrations come through. 1. print could just be the iceberg and 2. print could be the whales. I think the colors are spot on! just a thought. :)
