I like how the new gilted outline ties in with the border. I like the roughness of the border as it is more visible and works better now. Just my two cents. Go with your gut, you know what works bets! :)

I love these colors, and think the treatment you gave the ampersand works really well - gives it a little more visual interest without being distracting. Nice!

Love the changes Kim. I like how you tied the ampersand into the edge too, it's much more obvious now :) Looks great.

I couldn't do it...I really like the simplicity of this ampersand...but I did add a rough gilted outline to the ampersand to match the edges. Any critiques? Thanks so much for your opinions - I really appreciate them!

Thanks for the comments, ladies! How about this ampersand, instead? It's converted to outlines with a hollow rough-edged outline to match the rough gilted edges of the invitation. I also changed the brush on the edging so (hopefully) the imperfections are more apparent.

Your colour palette is always unique. And I'm a little jealous about that! Have you tired a more delicate ampersand to create some contrast between the type? This design work so well with one of the Minted die cuts because of it's simplicity.
