Thanks, Christina, Ana and Stacey. Ana - I agree. How's this? Also, here is my proposed backer design. I think this would fit several wedding styles - modern, rustic, art deco, ethnic Chinese, etc. Tangram puzzles would make perfect favors or table accessories.
Thanks so much, Mariel - I really appreciate the feedback! I've moved things up a bit to try to "even" things out a little. When I centered the heart in the top space, it looked a little "off," so hopefully what I have done has made it more balanced. Comments/critiques appreciated!!!
Simple, unique and modern. Great job!
this is absolutely beautiful! the colors, the pattern, the heart, the balance of it all. I hope your fictitious couple is getting married in a great covington deco building as fabulous as your invitations!
Looks really nice :)
Kim, this is so awesome, it's just perfect.
How did I miss this? Love it. That backer looks awesome, Kim!
This is such a unique design Kim and all the changes you've made are great!
This is cool, Kim! Feels very Jonathan Adler to me! Love the color and shapes!
Very nice, Kim. It feels like a modern take on an art deco theme.
I like the color change in the text - the heart really pops now!
Love it, Kim! The tangram heart is awesome!
Love this Kim!
I love the heart!! you always have the coolest simplest designs!! Great Job Kim!!
very nice and simple!
Very cool and nice kim..i adore your heart so much..
love this! very original, I wouldn't change a thing!
I love this! And I love the colors. It was one of my first favorites :) My only critique is that it's feeling a little bit "bottom heavy" to me. I wonder if you could shrink the font a tad, and also create a bit more space at the bottom so that the spacing feels more balanced around the heart and around the words. And if the spacing was equal from the top of the heart – top of the page and the bottom of the heart – top of the text? Hope that makes sense! Great piece, Kim.
Comments and critiques appreciated. Here are a couple of possible backers. I think I prefer the second backer - the one with the chevrons (no pink diamonds). Anyone else have a preference?
love the backer! reminds me of really cool origami papers!
I love the heart shape. I think that should be the focus. The copy in color distracts from that. Maybe try the copy in gray and in a thinner font and give the heart more importance? It is a super cool shape.
yup, me too Kim, #2 on backers. Love this design.
