I made all the changes that you suggested Renee, with the exception of the one with the date. I tried but I just couldn't make it seem balanced.

Thanks for the great advice Laura and Olivia. I made the initials smaller, the time/date/location bigger and eliminated the bolder line at the base. Hope it's much better now.

I'm also not by any means great at typography ... so any suggestions to tweak this design would be appreciated.

Hi Oma! This is really pretty and I can't believe your first wedding challenge!! I like all the changes you've made. My suggestion would be that there are too many ampersands. The A&B, the gray ampersand in middle and the 24th feel like they are making the design appear slightly off-center. Maybe a simple divider line between A l B is a solution(?). I would spell out 'and' for "Worthington and Mr. & Mrs." For the date, you could try November above the 24, drop the "th" and put 2012 under 24. Hope that helps. I really like your scroll/initial design. I could see that being used as a great branding element across all the wedding elements.

Thanks Nazia, I made the blue deeper because I still think I like it better with the last names in the grey. I will keep working on it to see if I can get it to be more noticeable.

Oma, this is lovely- I can't believe it's your first wedding challenge! I would possibly reduce the size of the initials a bit, ao that you have room to center it more- because of the shape of the letters, it looks right-heavy toward the "B" right now. I don't think it needs the grey lines at the bottom- it might look better to eliminate the bottom border entirely, and enlarge the time/date/location information for easier legibility.

Very pretty! I might visually center the initials in the circle. They look like they're over to the right a tad right now.

Thanks for noticing Anupama ... the weird thing is that it's perfectly inline in Illustrator. I offset it a bit just so looks a bit more even. Regards to the color change, I think it looks alot more balanced with less blue in the middle.

Truly goes by its name, I agree with Anupama about changing the colors of the last names, the blue is too light for the eye. Otherwise it's beautiful. :)

love the pattern..but the initials look a little odd to me...their placement actually !! and may be you can made the last names in the same colors as first name...
