This is looking so much better, Pirediba - that feather is really becoming the focal point! I would simplify the type even more. I recommend looking at some of the wedding invitations already for sale on Minted to see what types of fonts look good together and are doing well here. Also, I would reserve that fabulous bright blue for the bride and groom's name, and make the rest of the type gold, so that the names really stand out. Keep at it, it's looking good!
this is looking much better without the border and the ring...and you get to see some white space too...
It's looking better! White space is a good thing - you may want to take out "Wedding Invitation" and claim even more space (everyone will understand that it's a wedding invitation). And I would consider simplifying the type even more - I would recommend using only 1 or 2 colors and 1 or 2 fonts (maybe one for the names, and one for the rest). Hope that helps!
Comments are more welcome.
That peacock feather is beautiful, Pirediba! I think you could leave off the wedding rings and the gold starbursts - they detract from your focus, the peacock feather. Also, I recommend simplifying your type - it would look more unified with less font styles and colors. Maybe use a san serif font like Futura? Best of luck to you!
Pirediba, I agree with everything Kim mentioned. Sometimes less is better than too much. I hope you enjoy your first wedding invitation challenge and keep up the work!
