I like how this is 'French' without resorting to the usual Paris clichés. The loose, hand-drawn elements are extra-cute.

I can see where the designer was going with this; very original, unexpected ideas. The only thing I would suggest is putting something on the design that was a bit more in-line with a bridal shower, so it doesn't look like an award ceremony or opera advertisement.
