This is sweet!
and now I LOVE it! perfect. :)
Thanks Everyone for all your comments and suggestions!! : )
What a delightfully, sweet illustration! This is wonderful Stephanie!
Hey, Stephaine - your changes look great! This may just be me (I remember I mentioned my dislike for the Quicksand ampersand in the forum once and many disagreed), but I find the ampersand distracting from the header and the wonderful illustration because it's so large (and because it's Quicksand). Just my opinion - take it or leave it! :)
oh - one more comment...I would take the year off of the date (everyone will know it's the current year) to give that line more breathing room. :)
Looking really good, Stephanie! My only suggestion now would be to increase the kerning a bit on the date and other non-script info. I am definitely not the expert on type so hopefully someone else will provide some input too but to me, it looks just a little bit tight. Maybe abbreviate the date some & change the time to "7 o'clock" or "7:00 pm" to balance things out a bit? Also, looks like you need a space between "20," and "2012". Hope this helps & good luck! :)
LOVE your colors, illustration, snow dots and header! The only thing I'm questioning is the font for the non-script text - not sure what to suggest, and maybe it's just me? Hopefully you'll get more feedback. Good luck!
I have horrible issues with putting some fonts together.. I really wanted to use Stud Font but i don't own that one bummed me out
I agree with Kim, maybe just change that font to something a little easier to read. Otherwise, this is awesome!
This is so lovely! I'm not so sure about the font either. Maybe a futura or lost type's governor? That might keep the same feel you have here but be easier to read. The matchbook is just a little too narrow and thin. I also don't think you need an apostrophe in "holiday's" - i would either make it singular "holiday" or plural "holidays".
definitely agree with Dawn about taking out the apostrophe - good catch!
This is so cute Stephanie! Ditto on the font. Maybe Futura, Century Gothic or Estilo??
