I rellay like this idea, and your patterns and illustration are great! I think Futura or something else sans serif may be better for the supporting text (in grey). Good luck!

pretty COOL, Shira! I agree with Kim on the sans for the copy. Right now, I think it needs more contrast against that background, so either making the copy more bold, or lightening up the background will increase the readability. beautiful, though!
