About the Design

comments from the designer:

Designed for a family who already has had a child, sprinkle showers can be smaller showers for the baby who is inheriting lots of hand-me-downs but need practical or gender specific items, events focused on pampering mom-to-be or simply a chance to celebrate with the couple and older siblings the new arrival. This design in a sweet color palette is perfect for just such an event!

ha! I love the idea of it! I don't think you need the sun visual, it is a bit distracting. The cupcake is enough. Awesome idea!

love the changes!!! i think my only comment at this point would be to simplify the copy to show off the design. i like the rhyme you have but maybe take out the line with all the individual names and in the information paragraph I would take out "stop by" and make it a specific time. It will give the copy more room to breathe.

Laura, I agree with the other comments. The cupcake also looks a little tall to me? What if you added a slight drop shadow to the white banner as you did the cupcake. Make the changes and then put it aside for awhile :) It's a really cute idea and great colors!

LOVE the color palette!! I think the cupcake is a little large and the dots on the cupcake liner are distracting me from the the copy - I would simplify that with maybe smaller white dots (like you find all over baby items). For the text, I am in love with the headline. The name Sullivan seems too large. I think this is a great start, Laura. Good job!!

super cute laura!! i really like what you did with the typography and the colors you are using! i feel like the text and cupcake are competing a little in size. the text needs more breathing room around it. maybe shrink the cupcake down in size and that will give you some more room to make the white band wider?
