Debb - your rhymes are so clever! Be sure to add a way to personalize because that's required in this challenge. Good luck!

I agree with Kim - cute rhymes - I would suggest reducing the size of everything so you can add a section for the name top or bottom and possibly a white border all around. Also, the 7,8 seemed squeezed in the space - I'd take the number size down in in all instances and kern between the 1,0. Good luck, Debb!

Hi Debb, I think the comments above are good ones. This is a clever idea and I like it, just think a little tweaking would help. For me, I prefer to simplify. So besides tightening some things up and having consistent spacing, I'd would just show the kangaroo without the extra little illustrations, the dinosaur without the abstract background, etc. That way the rhyme really stands out. Hope that helps!

Hi Debb, I like this idea! Cute rhyme. I agree with Ann that some simplification would make this stronger. Maybe lose the backgrounds behind the dinosaur and some of the other added details? Also, I think the illustrations could work without the outlines. Just my two cents!

Hi Debb! I like your rhymes too - very cute :) Agree with Ann about removing the abstract pattern behind the dinosaur and some of the sparkles around the other illustrations. Maybe you could also try a different color palette. Muted colors could be nice for nurseries, or you could try bold, but just using pops of bright color here and there so as not to overwhelm. Great job on the dinosaur and kangaroo!

Debb, I like where you're going with the rhyme! I agree with what's been said above about simplifying. The figures will shine more without the other elements around them. And if it were me, I might try using the animals as a pictogram rather than having the word next to them [ie, "dinosaur" next to the dinosaur]. Just a thought!
