Much better with the adjusted type!
great colors and neat graphic
Turned out well!
What a sweet concept... nicely done!
Great to see your progress and how you worked it out at the end! Nice job, S!!
Very pretty - love the confetti hearts :)
so pretty and delicate.
Bring body of type higher and change type to something more flowing. Love the concept of hearts of confetti
This is very cute and colorful~ Love those vivid hearts!!
love the airy-ness of the hearts and the color palette. I think your type needs more kerning so it doesn't feel so heavy...increasing the leading would help too.
Love the confetti hearts! I do agree that the type could use a little breathing room.
I think the type looks much better!
I like the name change but I think I would prefer a non-italic sans serif still.
love the transparency and palette... these confetti hearts are so charming!
I really like this sweet, simple idea. Great colors, the gray copy is perfect. I'd be interested to see it in roman also, but still looks lovely as is :)
The confetti hearts look awesome, they almost seem to glow! I agree with Stacey about the grey text.
I agree with Stacey about the italic, a sans serif would be better. Also, I think your confetti would benefit from being thin out quite a bit.
I like the supporting copy in the gray. Have you tried a sans serif for the names? I still think you need a more modern vibe. The weight and fanciness of this typeface feels heavy next to those beautiful hearts. I might also try the names in your pale blue color so the copy reads more smoothly as one continuos block.
Comments are welcome and absolutely encouraged...thanks so much!!
I am loving the illustration - so pretty, colorful and sweet! I think the script might be too fancy, though. Maybe a light sans to go with the light-hearted nature of the drawing? Just love this one, though!
Shira, this is lovely, but I do agree with Carol in regards to the font choice. Something a little more modern like a san serif would work better. I also think that the pops of colour should come from the hearts and not so much the type. I wouldn't mind seeing a version in a charcoal or other deeper colours. Just wondering what that would look like. SO cute though!
cute illustration. Agree on fonts all around, I think you can push this further.
Love the hearts, your color choices are just right.
This is so cute! I agree with the ladies above. The hearts are adorable, but the font is a little too formal for the casual, bright colored hearts. My vote is a simple, sans serif font. Great job, though!
Thanks soooo much for taking notice of Confetti Hearts. Great suggestions that I will take back to the drawing board.
